Use the Custom Fields add-on for Google Calendar to create and manage custom fields that does not exist in the regular Calendar interface.
Event organiser can add a variety of customised fields including Dropdown, Date Picker, Color Picker, Checkbox, Multiple Choice, Long/Short Text.
Only those users who have edit access can change the custom fields.
A simple User Interface to see and edit the fields. Admin can quickly add or remove a field from the calendar.
