Extension Usage Instructions

Avoid clickbait by having this extension sum it up before you even click it.

Adds a right-click menu option to retrieve the punchline of a linked clickbait article without opening the page. The punchline will be shown behind the link's text after a few seconds, along with an estimate of the reading time.

Results will vary but should satisfy your curiosity enough to avoid the clickbait. Works best on typical clickbait headlines, about a.o. why, when, quotes, names, "amazing discoveries", and money. It can not (yet) handle numbered lists or quizzes.

Different from crowdsourced clickbait summarizers, this extension is fully automated and therefore not limited in scope.
