PraySync is the modern application of James 5:16. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." Many times we pray for lists of things when really we should be praying for people.
The app is packed with features to encourage and assist Christians to pray for one another. You can view your friends prayer requests and mark them as "I'm Praying" to let them know you are praying for them. A counter on each prayer request keeps track of how many people are praying. Commenting features give you the ability to encourage your friends, give praise to God, and share how God is working through your prayers. Private messaging features also give you the ability to share personal requests with others. Groups help churches, Christian organizations, missions, discipleship groups, and even a bunch of friends keep an active, simplified, and vibrant prayer chain.
