Features

1:
Allowing you to map prefixes in your PBI naming to decide what color the card should have. You have 11 colors to choose from and use what ever way makes sense for you. You can also color the cards on the taskboard the same way .

2:
it allows for items on the board to be handled as related. If two pbi:s have the same sequence of letters started by a # (Examples #123 or #COD ) hoovering one off the items will fade all unrelated items making it really easy to see where in the flow the related work is currently.

3: Breaking the wip limit will colour the background of the column lightly red tone. Being spot on the wip limit gives the column a slightly yellow tone. By setting a columns wip limit to 0 it will be considered as a done column assosiated with the column to the left. The wip will be added to that comumns wip. if the wip is broken both columns will get colored.

4:
Allowing you to add your personal links to the board. In my case i use this to direct link to Definition of done the task board and to our project Wiki you can add 10 links

5:Collect data of how the board looks at every reload and provide reports based on this data.

-Snapshot of board right now with days in lane and days on board for all items
-Report with data on when a card was in lanes and when it was bloocked.
-Report showing how long a card has been in lanes and total time blocked.

All this data can be exported as json and the different reports could be exported as csv as well. (This functionality only collect data that has been shown in your browser so the more you work with the board and reload it the better the data will be)

6:Filters By ending a PBI title with a |example you have created a "example" filter it is possible to filter on all filters that is available on the board at the moment. use filters for whatever makes sence for you.

7: CFD The collected data can be used to generate a CFD diagram with the ability filter out data in certain lanes this data can be filtered and exported

8: Cycletime analysis based on the collected data

Has been tested with TFS 2013 on MS cloud and a corporate internal installation of TFS 2013
