In the USA, copyright law explicitly states that the use of copyrighted works: "for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright". The purpose of this extension is to allow users to exercise their right to Fair Use.
Powered by play-with-mpv which requires several dependencies, see website for more info.
1. Install this chrome extension
2. Install Python 2 or 3 and pip
3. Install server: `pip install git+git://github.com/thann/play-with-mpv --user`
4. Run server: `play-with-mpv` from the terminal or use the linux shortcut
5. (optional) Autostart on linux: `cp ~/.local/share/applications/thann.play-with-mpv.desktop ~/.config/autostart/` 扩展基本信息
