In the communist country from where I came, students were made to recite slogans of the party, and we could see large banners of those slogans everywhere we go. The authoritarian government wanted to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Something similar is happening on the web today. When we go to certain websites, we are pestered with political banners that has nothing to do with the site's purpose.
This browser extension will remove propaganda from the websites you visit. This is a crowd-sourced effort. If you see a propaganda banner on some website, please report it to http://propaganda-banner-remover.idea.informer.com/ and we will add a rule that will remove it for everyone. 擴展基本資訊
