Remember when subscribing meant being notified? We do too.
Notifications for YouTube actively listens for new activity from all your subscriptions. A persistent, yet non-invasive, icon above the Chrome browsing window keeps track of the number of new notifications you have.
When opened, notifications are listed in chronological order, newest first. Soon you will have the option of seeing notifications grouped by your subscribed channels as well.
