For 150 years Canadian women have been killin’ it in science, human rights, healthcare, defence, sport, politics and, oh that’s right: everything else. Regardless their heritage or social standing, bold women have contributed enormously to our nation’s rich history, and promising future. However. For too long history books have been just that: HIStory. Despite the numbers of influential women and the scale of their achievements, our national story is flooded with the names and faces of great men. Fair? No. Predictable? Maybe. Changeable? Well whaddya think we’re doing here?
Okay, but what exactly does the extension do?
You know how every time you open a new internet window or tab, you get a default, boring, totally not inspiring landing page? With this extension, that drab page gets replaced with the entertaining, inspirational story of a fearless Canadian female. And every day, voila, a new inspirational gal to put get you fired up to change the world!
