Sweet New Tab is a very pragmatic extension that combines the gorgeous daily images of cakes with google search and perfect usability of bookmarks, apps, last visited and most visited sites. Also speed dial and a link to a mega deals website.

How to uninstall it (if you decided you like vegetables better, or for whatever other reason;) ):
